Tuesday Mania!

As I am sure you know, bread is all the rage in most foreign countries.  We spend most of our days eating carbs (pancakes, cereal, rice, bread, tortillas).  I am just about stuffed just thinking about it.  It shouldn't have surprised me that all of the teacher from the school kept talking about a special bakery run by menonites from the states that is only open on Tuesday and Fridays. 

So, naturally yesterday I told my family I would not be home for lunch and a few of the students and I made the trek.  The place is full of all the baked items you could imagine (I should have taken a photo inside)....cookies, breads, pies, cinnamon rolls, donuts, brownies, and homemade peanut butter.  We bought a bunch and have been sharing it with everyone since then!

spot we always take (the sidwalks are really narrow),

but my bag was so full of goodies that I got stuck!

We had a good laugh!
